Keep Chicagoland Moving is a publication of TAK Marketing, LLC and part of the Omnishun information systems. This page explains how our content is made and how the site makes money.

How our content is made

Our guides and articles are researched from primary records and data — city and county datasets, and venue, event, and listing information — alongside local reporting, which we link when we rely on it. Like most modern publishers, we use research and writing tools, including AI-assisted drafting, as part of our process. Articles are reviewed and edited before they go live, and we update pieces when facts change.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it. If you spot an error — a closed restaurant, an outdated price, a wrong date — tell us and we’ll correct the article.

Advertising

Keep Chicagoland Moving is supported by display advertising served by third-party ad networks. Ads are visually distinct from editorial content, and advertisers do not review, approve, or influence what we write. We do not accept payment for inclusion in our guides or rankings. If a specific article is ever sponsored or contains affiliate links, that article will say so at the top.

Not professional advice

Our content is for general information only. Articles about real estate, mortgages, and money are not financial, legal, or brokerage advice, and market conditions change quickly — always verify current details and consult a licensed professional before making decisions.
